The church needs to know that single moms have great needs, and meeting those needs can be powerfully effective in showing the love of Jesus to those single moms and kids inside and outside the church.

Legal Advice related to Family Court Issues (ie:Custody, Child Support Payments)

Help Around the House with Repairs

I’m sure other single moms could think of a dozen other “single moms needs”, but I think you get the point. Just think about the outreach possibilities to single moms in need. Here’s a problem though: Manny single moms, whether they be Christians single moms or unsaved, often feel it difficult to ask for help. That’s why the church needs to reach out to them with practical help.

Are you dating a desperate person? Are you a desperate dater? Some single Christians seeking a true love relationship, sometimes are tempted to practice what we call “desperation dating.”
Desperate dating can occur for a number of reasons. Some singles do so out of loneliness and a lack of contentment. Some others see their friends getting married off, and become afraid of being alone and single for the rest of their lives.
Desperate dating is not cool because more often than not, desperate dating ends in painful disaster for the Christian single. On top of all of this, a desperate dater is simply unattractive to the opposite sex.
Desperate Dating Signs
Do you exhibit signs of a desperate dater?
- Dating someone outside of God’s will. Foer example, dating an unbeliever.
- Settling for someone with qualities you would never even have considered a year or two ago
- Changing or compromising your beliefs, likes and dislikes only to please your dating partner
- Needing constant reassurance from your date that you are worthwhile
If you display one of more of these signs, you are more than likely a desperate dater. Most Christians who are into desperate dating have somehow gotten their priorites out of whack. What is the remedy? As my one Christian friend used to say, you can’t be dating desperately and waiting on the Lord at the same time.

In truth, Christian Lifestyle is like most Christian online sites in that few are purely
Christian. Even eHarmony is not “Christian” per se, although they
uphold moral values akin to Christianity, and it’s founder is a Christian.
The bottom line about Christian Lifestyle: Can you find a true Christian date through this site? Yes, because real Christians sign up on them. Is it the right thing to do since they also have dating niche sites that are clearly non-Christian? That’s something you’re going to have to pray and seek the Lord about.
