   I am a BBW who is soon to be divorced. I am also Christian, and thus, this imeding divorce is very heartbreaking to me. He has already found someone else with no regards to how I feel or how our daughters feel about it. I am now deciding to start trying to start over now. I am 32, 5″4′, and I won’t even go there with weight! Brunette, as well.

   You’re right, there arent any BBW Christian sites…so how about someone starting one? Being a BBW myself, I find it tiring to sort through all the guys who want “Average, slim slender athletic” and not wanting to be rejected by men who do not see the beauty in BBW’s. If I knew how to start a site for us, I would. AND it would be FREE!

   I agree with Melinda. It will be nice when a Christian BBW dating site is created. I am a Christian BBW who is tired of the sexual content that can come from these other Non-Christian sites.

   I totally agree. It’s so hard to find a nice guy on the dating sites who aren’t into one night stands and/or living together arrangements. We really do NEED a Christian site for BBW’s. There must be a way to do one free. Plenty of Fish is a free site, but non-christian. If they can do it, why can’t we. We need to get our heads together and do a little research here gals.

   Ok am I the only one? If you go to the Christian Sites they are all slim and average. If you go to the BBW sites they all say they are Christian, but are asking you if you wanna hook up. Come one. Christian means you love Christ. Not something cute you put on a profile because you don’t want to put none. AHHH. I am s looking forward to a Christian BBW site.

   I await the day when Christian websites are filled with people who are willing to have a relationship as our Lord instructs. I am a BBW and when I fill out my information I state up front no sex unless I get married. Guess how may replies I receive? …. and that is ok, because My new Husband will know how to treat me with respect and will honor the Lord with me in our relationship. Dating website or not, I CAN’T WAIT to see who the Lord selects for me!!!Blessings to all. I kow Valentines Day can be a hard day for singles, but focus on the agape love of Christ..it is the perfect love.

   I made my username RachelBBW when I joined a certain Christian dating site try to draw someone more accepting of my size. In 6 months I’ve had one guy write to say he likes BBW. It makes it harder to find someone who is a match when you’re in two minority groups: BBW and Church of Christ. I would LOVE to join a Christian/BBW site, especially if it allowed searches within denominations.

    I agree with all of the ladies on here. On any BBW site I’ve tried, I get responses for one night stands. On the Christian sites I try, I’m sad to say that I haven’t received any responses since I am not Hollywood’s version of beautiful. I know there are Christian men out there who look beyond the what society says and sees the true beauty in all of us, but the hard part is just finding them! I would love to join a Christian site that works for us too, if anyone knows of any!

    I agree with all of the BBW dating women here. I am tired of being scammed by men who say that they are Christian & then when it comes down to when we meet, when will we have sex? Or Scammed for money because I am a BBW looking for my Man from God. (Presuming I am a lonely BBW). Or that I am not smart enough to sense the falseness of these harmful people. If I didnt have the Lord I would have been hurt many times by these american scammers that are working in Nigeria! Please Please someone come up with a free scam free, screened dating site for us BBW wanting a real relationship, with real men who appreciate us for who we are! Beautiful, Intelligent, Funny, Honest, Reliable & Loving Women!

    My prayers as a BBW are often that God will send me my perfect life partner, the mate he wants me to be with. I get very discouraged at times as many of us do when we assert ourselves and try to meet a Christian men who will love us for who we are, just like Jesus Christ does. It’s very hard and hurtful at times. Yes, please someone create, screen the participants and monitor a site for BBW dating people who are sincere in wanting to meet decent, honest,true Christian individuals. Amen to that!

    Oh my! Was I glad to find this post. I have tried several dating sites and those that focus on BBW don’t hold the values of Christianity. And I have found that it is rare to find men that are interested in BBW on other sites that consider your spirituality.

    I for one am so tired of either getting propositioned for sex on the BBW sites or worrying myself to death wondering if the guy I find so attractive is gonna have “that look” on his face when he sees my size. Yes you can find Christians who like BBWs on any of the sites on here, IF you want to spend ALL your free time online. Cant someone please find a way to give us what we need?

    In regard to BBW dating, I don’t think there is anything more that I can say that wouldn’t echo all the comments already made. I have tried the BBW sites and got nothing but sexual advances;I’ve tried Yahoo and Eharmony and get no where when they see my size. But I know that I am beautiful, inside and out, because that is how God made all of us. Why is it so difficult to find that one person who will look passed the size and into the soul?? And the rejection from those who can’t just make it harder to be patient….

    A Christian BBW dating site would be awesome. Somewhere that a man would know “God isn’t done with me yet” doesn’t mean “I’ll be slim when God is done with me”. Let’s all pray this site gets up & running soon. Looks like God has made a lot of BBW that He wants good men for.

    Hi all, I’m a 40 something BBW. I’ve been a Christian all my life yet I’ve never been on a date w/a Christian man because none have ever asked me! I had 5 marriage proposals but never married because none of them were Christian. Aren’t there any Christian men who like BBW’s? WE definately need a dating site for Christian BBW’s. Men are always saying they want women who are faithful,loving and sweet yet so many overlook BBW’s. There are so many big beautiful Christian women … and we’re beautiful inside & out!

    I started a Christian BBW/BHM Club online, and nobody wanted to join it because it was Christian.. See I had it where we could Praise the LORD together, and uplift and encourage one another, and people say one thing but do another.. I just closed the site yesterday, because nobody is serious about they’re walk with the LORD or finding a mate in the LORD..

    It is funny, the GAYS are running to the altar, but the Christian’s are not… Hmmmmmmmm…

    hey, i just came across this and realized that first I’m half the age of any man wanting a BBW and second, that none of them are Christian, and third that the majority of those all for a Christian BBW thing are women. Now, what does this tell us? Does the Christian man also want the supermodel solely because she is the supermodel/superChristian? Also, does the Christian man feel he’s settling for less than what God has for him if he’s interested in a BBW? And is a BBW in fact less? And is a BBW fantasy solely a perversion? If so, then is it upon us, the BBWs to change or upon Christian men to settle, or for more BBW fans to be Christian? One more question: Do any Christian men even prefer a BBW not DESPITE the weight but BECAUSE of the extra beauty?

    I just finished my only experience with a BBW website and it was really awful. I truly believe that most men on these BBW websites are there for fantasy/perversion type relationships. I very clearly said in my profile that I am a born-again Christian, on staff at a church and that I expect whomever contacts me to love Jesus more than anything. I can’t BEGIN to tell you the responses I got and will not repeat what some of them said to me. I was excited to meet a man who said he is a Christian and was happy to find a Christian woman on the site. We started talking and two days into our conversations, we talked about premarital sex. His comment was, “Well, I have my own opinions about that… don’t go throwing verses at me.” As Charlie Brown says, “ARRGGHH!!” But I dated a man for several months from a CHRISTIAN website who believed that everything short of intercourse was OKAY. Where are the TRUE GODLY SINGLE MEN? It’s discouraging to say the least. I’m just going to let JESUS be everything to me and if HE blesses me with someone - that’s great but if He doesn’t, I’ll be like Paul and BE CONTENT! Blessings to all! Cindy

    I’m disgusted! I too have hust had a horrible experience with a BBW dating website. I thought I’d have some control over who answered my ad by stating in bold letters: “YOU MUST BE A CHRISTIAN TO REPLY” what a joke. I don’t even think the men read your profile on these sites. All the see is your picture. I’m more than a pretty face. And another thing… They made me feel as though I was being sold on the block with the questions they asked me… They wanted to know what my legs look like among other things…These men are only looking to for one night stands. I’m looking to meet a man of quality and faith. One who loves and obeys God, I joined the site because, it’s hard for me to find men, even christian men being a bbw. Another thing,…. I think these men on these sites think because we’re BBWs we’re desperate. That makes me mad!!

    I am a Christian, a person of color, and a BBW. I have had inconsequential experiences with several BBW sites. Not all the men were looking for one-night stands, but it seemed that most of them view BBW’s, especially black BBW’s, as a fetish or fantasy to pursue. And of course, most of these men claimed to be “christians”. It’s rather discouraging….but anyway, I would love to join a site where REAL Christian BBW’s were able to interact with REAL Christian men who have a genuine interest in Christian BBW’s.

    And whoever said something about the men not reading profiles is 100% correct ! The men who fail to read your profile have NO genuine interest in you as a woman. I am a part of a couple of BBW sites at the moment, and a good screening tool I use is to totally IGNORE messages from men who have not read my profile. From the criteria that I meantioned on my profile in terms of what I am looking for in a mate, I can tell by the guy’s message to me whether or not he read my profile and also whether or not he has a genuine interest in me. For example, A guy sending a “You’re HOT” message is not trying to really get to know me.

    Someone else mentioned being able to set your profile so that you only hear from guys that meet your criteria….well ladies, I have found that to be a pipe dream lol. I have NO interest in dating men with offspring, and I have that on my profile, yet it’s like I attract men of all races who typically have at least one child. So, I say just push on and keep at it. When God wants me to meet my husband, he will certainly let me know.

    Amen! and Amen! So true are all the experiences above and so soul destroying. Not all at once but with each disappointment causing us pain and chipping away at our belief in love. Let’s join together in prayer and ask our God - He who can turn the impossible into possible for us - to inspire someone to create the right site for us who are BBWs that love and serve Him. To heal us from past disappointments and experiences and to give us a more real hope in the future that we can be loved and give love according to His Word and His Will.

    I am registered on several dating sites, some Christian, some secular and some BBW and i haven’t had any luck with any of them! I either get non-Christians or people wanting slim model types, and no-one wanting the complete package i have to offer! I often find that being a divorcee is seen as such a negative thing by some Christian men too. A Christian BBW site would be fantastic, someone please start one soon or i just might!

    It is so comforting to find I am not in this boat alone!! I have been on several paid and free websites both regular and BBW and begin to feel like a loser because so often it seems like nobody takes time to get to know the person inside and gets humg up on the packaging. And I can top all the one night stand offers…I got asked to be a guy’s mistress thru Plentyoffish….a Christian BBW site would be awesome!!!

    I’m so weary as the others… and just long for His man.. I have so much to give… please pray for me because besides my large size which I’m doing everything possible to lose it… it’s due to medical problems… In addition to that…my body got ruined and deformed from when I had children… to the wrong person when was very young.. this makes it even more difficult to find a man who will love me…

    Oh why can’t men be what God made them to be… just like Him!!! for then they would look on the heart and who the person is on the inside instead of the outward appearance.

    This is to Marcy, It is good you acknowldedge your pain for that is the begining of your healing. Your problem is neither men nor your size but your self etseem is too low. the comment ‘my body got ruined and deformed from when I had children… to the wrong person when was very young..’ means you hate your self and possibly resent your children for ruining your body. Men usually love women that love themselves but a man cannot give you inner satisfction like the one the lord can give to you. Besides most men alreaday have messed up lives,(like addiction to pornography) expecting them to make you happy is asking too much from them because it is only God that can make you happy.
    so what sh’d you do?
    Pray and ask God to change your attitude towards yourself. I have met happily married large women with the sweetest hearts you can ever imagine. And their husbands love them anyway, bcause they love themselves too. You don’t need to apologize to any body for your size Take care of your self for health reasons.
