Bethlehem Church’s renowned Single Adults Ministry, S.A.L.T. (Single Adults Learning Together), is pleased to announce their 1st annual Annual One-Day Christian Singles Conference, to be held on Saturday, September 22nd, from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm at Bethlehem Church in Randolph, New Jersey.
This year’s conference theme, Singled Out for Him: Developing Biblical Disciplines for Relationships and Finance, will center on how physical, emotional, spiritual and financial disciplines are the means to unparalleled freedom and honoring God.
Based on the experiences and successes of Singles who have overcome life’s challenges, the conference has been especially designed for Singles – by Singles and examines biblical disciplines as they relate to divine and personal relations. The event also offers an interactive, hands-on Crown Financial Ministries workshop that addresses the cause and effect of debt, the high cost of living in New Jersey for Singles singles and God’s answer to managing money in all circumstances.
Scheduled Keynote Speakers include Edward Williams of the Williams Homes Fellowship Singles Ministry and Robert Bugai, Investigative Reporter and Crown Financial Ministries Coach. Known for their level of artistry and spiritual impact on the body of Christ, The PowerSurge Worship Band will lead praise and worship at this event.

How Big is Your God?

My dear brothers and sisters, this summer has been quite an adventure for me. I have been to the hospital on four separate occasions. Presently, I have spent a good portion of this week in the hospital with a serious bacterial infection and a broken TV. Come on, I can handle the sickness, but a broken TV?
The scary part is that even as I am writing this I am taking the most powerful oral antibiotic out there for my cellulitis, but it doesn’t seem to be helping.
All of the above has made me feel totally helpless. But I soon realized that this is exactly the position that God wants me in. With no TV, I picked up a book called Holy Ambition by Chip Ingran, and it reminded me that my God is the God of the helpless. In fact when we seek God in our helplessness, we actually become dangerous to the enemies of God because He loves to work his power through those who humbly acknowledge that they are not in control of their lives. Wow! Just thinking about this fact totally reinvigorated my spirits, and I am trusting Jesus for miraculous results. Keep posted.
It’s not a matter of what circumstances we are going through, but the issue is how big we think our God is. So how big is your God?
