Valentines Day Slogans
Leave a CommentHave any favorite Valentines Day slogans? There are a number of Valentines Day slogans and quotes out there which put singles in a yearning mood for love. After all, this is the day that every body celebrates love, and being together with their significant other. However, some of these Valentines Day slogans can also be very depressing and discouraging for christian singles who wish that they were in a relationship.
If this sounds like you, there’s no need to be discouraged. It is important to remember that God already knows who your soul mate is, and He also know when and where you will meet this person. The only thing that you have to do is to be patient, and trust that God knows the best time and place for you to meet your future love.
Psalm 24:14 says ” Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” God loves each one of us better than anybody else in the universe! He knows what is best for you, and that includes knowing when and where you should meet you future soul mate. Take heart, trust in the Lord, and He will lead you to your future lover when the time is right.

Sexy Singles and the Bible
Leave a CommentSexy Christian singles? Gulp! This is dangerous territory. Is it ok to be a sexy single and still be an obedient Christ follower? What do you think single Christians? Hmm. I just looked up “sexy” in Websters and gave me back the following two definitions:
Sexy Singles According to Webster
1. Arousing or tending to arouse sexual desire or interest.
2. Slang for highly appealing or interesting; attractive.
Seems to me that definition number 2 is cool. I mean, most singles should wish to be highly appealing and interesting to the opposite sex, and I don’t see anything wrong with that. However, it’s “sexy singles” definition 2 that kind of bothers me. Can anybody say stumbling block?
So where do we go from here? I believe being a sexy single Christian is not an oxymoron, but should be taken with a dose of God’s Word for today.
