You know, I applauded Carrie Prejean’s courageous answer on what she felt about gays marrying each other. She was simply speaking from the heart what she truly believed about marriage. That marriage, not just a Christian marriage, should be between a single man and a single gal. The Liberal press went out of their way to make fun of her for her Christian beliefs.
Carrie Prejean Loses My Vote
Unfortunately, recently revelations about Carrie Prejean, namely her boob job and ensuing topless photos, give unbelievers an opening for besmirching the name of Jesus. Quite frankly she comes across to me now as another shallow single person who will do or say anything to make it in this world.
Before I keep picking on poor old plastic, hypocritical Carrie, maybe I should look my own little areas that give an opening to the world for thinking to themselves, “It’s the same old Christian hypocrisy at work.” So what do you think?

It’s only fair that I write about Kris Allen, American Idol finalist, since I have also shared an article about Danny Gokie, the other remaining Christian single in the American Idol contest. Kris Allen, is a Christian single on American Idol who has been selfless in his expression of love to other contestants.
A worship performer at New Life Church in Arkansas, he has been shining the love of Jesus by helping others with their musical arrangements, while he could have been working on his own. Simply put, Kris Allen’s American Idol actions have spoken volumes about what it means to be a Christian.

Danny Gokey American Idol Christian Single

Well Danny Gokey, Christian single widower, has made it to Final Four of American Idol. For those who don’t know, Danny Gokey is a contemporary Christian music worship leader in Wisconsin for Faith Builders International Ministry. Daney Gokey follows a long list of American Idol finalists who are dedicated Christians. In fact, Kris Allen, another American Idol finalist along with Danny Gokey, is also single Christian who volunteers his musical talents at his local church.

Hey, I don’t know if Danny Gokey is going to win American Idol. My suspicions are that Adam Lambert or Kris may sneak in as the champ. Whatever. I’m just please that there are Christian singles out there who are using their talents as a springboard to communicate Christ to the world. I think Gokey does a great job of “being in the world, but not of it.” How about you? How do you portay yourself to the world? Do people even know you are a Christian?
