Financial Advice for Christian Singles
Leave a CommentMany single Christians are seeking financial advice in these scary economic times. In fact when we recently did a survey of what singles worry about most, financial money worries topped the list , right in front of sex and dating issues. tops the list.
Best Financial Advice for Singles
According to the Scriptures, the best financial advice for singles comes in our 8.16.11 Bible Verse of the Day: ’It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20: 35 / NIV)
In our society today, there is such an emphasis on money and ways to obtain, it’s overwhelming. I think that’s part of the reason so many singles seek financial advice, and get all freaked out over it. Look, You can wake up 3:30am, turn on the t.v. and I’m sure you’ll find some guy offering you financial advice on a way to “get rich quick”. However, we as Christians must always remember, God is proud of us when we work hard and complete the task that He has put before us. Also, God blesses us not so we can hoard & accumulate things for ourselves, but the primary purpose of being blessed by our Heavenly Father is to be a blessing to others. Today, I pray that this bible verse stays pressed upon our hearts. I pray that we give to those who need, whenever we can. Amen! God Bless You All! I’m praying for you! May God’s love, mercy, peace, wisdom & favor be upon you in abundance. In Jesus’ holy name, Amen!

Looking for Free Christian Singles Sites
Our 8.15.11 Bible Verse of the Day says, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5: 7 / AKJV) – When it reads, “For We Walk” or “To Walk”, it is referencing on how we should live, how we should conduct ourselves. As followers of Jesus Christ, we should always place all our faith in Him, not not looking on what we see, and certainly not in every little piece of free Christian singles advice we read on the internet. Some of us may been in a season of our life where times are hard, nothing seems to be going our way, things are going from bad to worse. *But, the good news is, we serve such a loving God. My prayer for all of us is that we not dwell on what is seen, to not dwell on our current circumstances, but that we all place our faith in our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Amen! God Bless You All! I’m praying for you! May God’s love, mercy, peace, wisdom and favor be upon you in abundance! In Jesus holy name, Amen!
When Sensing God’s Love is Difficult
Leave a CommentAs a Christin single, do you have a difficult time sensing God’s love? One of my single guy friends told me recently he has a difficult time sensing God’s love for him because he has never really felt loved by his parents, and has yet to experience a good, positive love or dating relationship with the opposite sex.
How to Sense God’s Love
If you have a difficult time sensing God’s love today, it all starts with believing what God says in the Bible about Himself. Before I committed my life in faith to the Lord, I did not sense His love for me. While I was going through some of the darkest periods of my life, something inside me still knew to cry out to God and seek His love & mercy. Being sincerely honest, in my own human understanding, I thought I didn’t deserve His love. But, something deep within my heart knew that He was still listening. Today, I know what that “something” was, it was God’s love for me. Regardless of what I thought I deserved, or how bad I felt, God showed me His love. Why? Because “God is love.”God Bless You All! I’m praying for you! May God’s love, mercy, grace, wisdom and peace dwell in and flow through you. In Jesus holy name, Amen!
8.4.11 Bible Verse of Day:
“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love.” (1 John 4: 16 / NIV)
