Our vision for this Christian single dating site has never been to be simply a Christian dating service. Rather, our goal has always been to be a Christian singles “resource hub” where one can find Christian single dating reviews, spiritual encouragement, dating advice, singles groups and interaction with other singles by the writing and sharing of articles.
Christian Single Dating Tips
Many have written asking us what Christian single dating advice we could give in order to help singles enjoy a better online Christian dating experience. We thought long and hard on this, and came up with one simple thought: Avoid Extremes. Here’s what we mean by that:
On the one hand, there are many singles who yearn for a Christian single dating partner, but are overly cautious. So much so that they allow their fears to rule over their desire for a Christian single dating relationship. The end result is that these poor singles remain depressed, discouraged and quite possibly out of God’s will.
As far as the other Christian single dating extreme is concerned, there are those Christians who get tired of waiting on God, and plunge heart first into a Christian single dating relationship that they should have avoided altogether. The result is often a bunch of pain, rejection and heartache. These Christian dating singles have not taken to heart our Bible Verse of the day:
-Above all else, guard your heart,
for it is the wellspring of life.-Proverbs 4:23
Successful Christian single dating means having a prayerful balance between the two dating attitudes we find among Christian singles.

Certain online dating services are what we call matchmaker dating sites. Matchmaker dating is different from other types of online dating service (like Christian Mingle, for example) in that the person using them has less control over the dating process.
Instead of you choosing your own potential dating match, the dating matchmaker service will choose a partner for you, usually after you complete an indepth compatibility test unique to the particular service. We referred to this type of dating matchmaker service in a previous article on eharmony.com, which offers the kind of matchmaker site we are talking about.
Dating Matchmaker in the Bible
The first dating matchmaker was not a modern matchmaker service, but rather Abraham’s chief servant, whose name we never find out about in the Scripture.
The story in Genesis 24 goes like this: Abraham gave his chief servant, the very first dating matchmaker, the job of finding a wife for Isaac. The wonderful thing from this whole passage is that Abraham had faith in God that He would supernaturally provide a wife for his son.
Bible Verse of Day
Abraham said, “the LORD, the God of heaven, who brought me out of my father’s household…He will send His angel before you so that you can get a wife for my son from there.” Genesis 24:7
Wow! Look at that faith! What about you as a single Christian seeking a mate? Do you believe your God will supernaturally provide a wife or husband for you?
I believe this because I’ve seen God play the dating matchmaker role in so many of my friends’ lives over the years. I also find it comforting that God Himself is interested in this part of our lives. He is, in fact our ultimate Dating Matchmaker.

Spending New Years Eve minus a romance relationship usually spells loneliness and depression. I know many Christian singles reading this watched the Ball drop last night without a romance relationship in sight. Sigh. Under these circumstances it’s very easy to lull ourselves into a self-pity party, especially as we observe other couples enjoying their romance relationships.
Romance Relationship Hope for the Future
Last night as I watched the record crowd during the Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration, it dawned on me that many of the celebrants in romance relationships probably didn’t know Jesus as Lord and Saviour. The I sadly Thought, “what lasting hope for the future do they really have?” Yet, they sure seemed happy as they whooped it up.
Saint Paul tells us a wonderful thing about having Jesus in our lives: we are not like the world, who have no hope for the future. No, as Christians, we have a glorious future hope in Him!
So how does romantic relationships fit in all of this? Only in this way: The same God who has given you hope for eternity has also promised to meet our needs in this life as well.
My advice as you seek a romance relationship in 2007?
- Pray to God, expecting miraculous results in the area of romance relationships.
- Take faith filled risks as you do your part to fulfill your end of the bargain. This may mean joining a new Church singles group, or signing up at a Christian dating service
- Consider 2007 a new chance to claim anew His promises found in His Word.
Bible Verse of Day
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.Jeremiah 29:11

Are you familiar with love tests? You can see love tests on many dating sites and in romance/dating magazines. What exactly is a love test? A love test is basically a quiz, a set of questions that supposedly will determine whether or not the girl or guy you are dating really loves you, or is just faking it.
In my opinion, most of these love tests are inaccurate, and should be taken sort of like the “he loves me, he loves me not” games we used to play when we were kids. (Just thought I’d share that the petals on my flower always seemed run out on she loves me not)
A True Love Test
A real love test will take into account the actions of a person, and not just his or her’s words. How often have we heard those wonderful words “I love you”, only to realize later that the person saying them was manipulative and insincere. Mere words ring hollow, but actions speak volumes.
In this regard of connecting our words with our actions, the Bible speaks an awful lot about the meaning of love, and always connects true love with sacrificial giving of one’s self and goods.
Bible Verse of the Day
“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.” 1 John 3:16-18
As a single Christian, how do your actions in the relationships add up against the “ultimate love test” found this verse. Are you all talk and no action? Do your words ring true, or are you just blowing hot air?

There are an inumerable number of inspirational love quotes out in the world today. In fact whole websites are dedicated to cataloging inpirational love quotes from all different genres. If you’ve spent any time searching the web, you’ve probably come across some of these inspirational “love quote” sites.
Why We Love Inpirational Love Quotes
Inpirational love quotes are so appealing to people, especially singles, because most of us yearn for unconditional love, with no strings attached. So when we come across an inspirational love quote, whether it be from a song, movie or book, we become inspired with the hope of true love.
In my view the most inspiring of all love quotes comes from the God of the whole universe. In our Bible Verse of the Day it reads:
“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with loving-kindness.” Jeremiah 31:3
It still knocks my socks off that He chooses to love us just as we are, wherever we are. Of course, we all still (okay most) desire romantic love. Why, that’s how He made us. But as you wait on Him to fulfill that part of your yearning, please don’t forget the source of all real love. Okay?

Christian dating.com singles? Who are these people and where do they come from? Christian dating.com singles are Christian singles who have used or are using online Christian dating services.
Dating.com singles come from all areas and make up all kinds of people. They are Christian single parents, college students, 30-something, never married singles, divorcees and widows, etc.
Christian Dating.Com Singles and the Church
Most attend evangelical churches on Sundays and get involved involved in local ministries such as small groups. The only problem is many of the churches dating.com singles attend have few other singles attending them who are available for a dating relationship. On account of this fact, more and more Christian singles are becoming dating.com singles.
If you are a single Christian thinking about using one of the dating.com services that are scattered throughout the internet, I want to encourage you to have fun, and don’t be bothered by other people judging you for taking a faith filled risk with the Lord in this area of your life. The fact is, tens of thousands of single dating.com Christians are meeting and marrying by using services as ChristianMingle/Relationships.com, Christian Cafe or eHarmony.
Our only piece of Christian dating advice is to educate yourself on how to start using online Christian dating.com services, be patient as you wait on the Lord and to commit everything you do to Him.
Bible Verse of Day
“Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.”
Psalms 37:4-6

Relationship Rescue is a term Dr. Phil McGraw popularized in one of his best selling books that also goes by that name. Relationship rescue has to do with, yes you guessed it, rescuing relationships from the brink of disaster and break ups.
Dr. Phil’s book goes on to give a number of”relationship rescue” tips on how one rescue his or her relationship. While I don’t agree with all of the relationship rescue steps in the book, there are many dating Christian singles and married couples who can use a good relationship rescue. This is where some third party practical advice can go a long way toward reconnecting and rescuing their relationships.
The Ultimate Relationship Rescue
When you really think about it, Jesus our Saviour performed the greatest relationship rescue of all time when he gave his life to bring us back into a loving relationship with the Heavenly Father. Our own sins had alienated us from such a wonderful relationship, but His death and ressurection made a way for us to return to God.
If you’re a believer in Jesus to day you have been cleansed, forgiven and have eternal life waiting for you in heaven. Now that’s what I call Relationship Rescue!
