En réponse au Myspace le phénomène, plusieurs réseaux sociaux simples chrétiens et les camaraderies ont pris naissance comme solutions de rechange de Myspace. La plupart de ces réseaux sociaux chrétiens (voir la liste ci-dessous) sont les wannabes de Myspace qui sont étés souteneurs dehors avec un regard et se sentent semblables à la disposition et aux milieux de Myspace. Sans compter que leurs plus petits rangs d'adhésion, la seule vraie différence est que les réseaux sociaux chrétiens sont en grande partie exempts de n'importe quel matériel incertain. C'est une bonne chose !

Christian teens love dating and Myspace, and they also have sex just as frequently as their non-Christian teen friends. Ouch! Like salmon swimming against the current, Christians teens who are serious about Jesus are also in battle for spiritual survival. The bottom line here: Christian Teens struggle just like adult single Christians.
Christian Teen Advice Lacking
One of my friends who ministers to Christian Teen girls and boys recently lamented: “Christian teens are confused. They get preached to endlessly about things like courtship and dating, and the dangers of having sex before marriage, but have little real leadership by example from those at home or in the church. No wonder a large number of Christian teens get discouraged, and leave the church when they go to college.” Hello!
If you are a Christian teen (or older Christian single) who feels like you really blew it with God, and don’t know where to turn, remember the Heavenly Father is always willing to accept you where you are (1 John 1:9). You can also go to Him 24/7. Really.
There are also many Christian teen ministers and other older singles who would be more than willing to talk to you about whatever ( and we mean whatever) you wish. Sometimes just talking about our problems can help us.

A dating chat with God? Yeah, I know that sounds strange. Usually when we think of dating chats, we think of online dating chat rooms where flirting and speaking with the oppositie sex takes place.
Recently, however, several Christian singles mentioned how they were struggling with their faith, and wish they could have a “dating chat” with God on few issues. Like Job, they figured if they could, they would ask the Lord a few questions on some things they just don’t understand.
How about you? When it comes to your dating life, do you find yourself wishing you could have some dating chats with your Lord?

Dating Chat Questions and Our Faith
Wow! Talk about some heavy dating chat questions! But the most beautiful thing about our God is that He allows us to ask questions. The bottom line is although we may get all the answers this side of heaven, we have someone who loves us unconditionally, ans is always seeking our good. Do you believe that today?
We mentioned Job earlier above. Here’s a dude who was blamesless and upright before God. He seemed to have it all, until one dayhe lost everything. He NEVER found out the “whys” of it all. However, knowing and trusting in the character of God allowed him to exclaim the words found in our Bible Verse of the Day:

As an employee in family court, I see a lot of single gals come through our doors. Not a few of these single gals are pregnant teen girls in great financial, spiritual and emotional need.
This thought about single gals got me thinking about Mary, the blessed mother of Jesus, our Saviour. Think about it. She too was a single gal, a pregnant teenager with some heavy needs of her own.
Single Gal Problems
First of all, she was a small town single gal who was having a baby. Can you imagine the scandal and hurtful gossip going on in Nazareth at this time? If you’re from a small town or village, you know exactly what I’m talking about.
Secondly, besides this single gal having to deal with all the vicious rumours spreading around town, she also had to worry about her family. What do you think this single gal’s parents had to say about all of this? Suppose you had a teenage daughter. Would you believe her if she told you the Holy Spirit impregnated her? Would you think she was lying? Or Crazy? In the pressure of the moment, would you be tempted to get this single gal an abortion?
Finally, when our single gal left Nazareth for Bethlehem, she literally had nothing but the clothes on her back sans a couple extra rags she was to use as swaddling clothes. In grievous labour pains on the back of a donkey, she arrives at her destination: a smelly stable in the open air of the night. The single gal and Joseph coudn’t afford much else.
At just the right time, this single gal gave birth to a Precious Child without any assistance except for Joseph, who was probably just as clueless as most guys today are under similar circumstances.
I suppose most of us know the rest of this glorious story. This single gal ended up okay because God’s Grace was upon her, as witnessed by our Scripture of the day.

Quite, frankly, putting out Christian Dating Tips for Teens can be quite controversial. I realize there are some who would rather lump Christian dating tips for teens under the heading of courtship.
However, our purpose for even mentioning Christian dating tips for teens is not to become embroiled in the Christian dating versus courtship debate, but rather to give some broad biblical advice and tips that Christian teens serious about their faith can apply to their dating lives. I suppose the following teen Christian dating tips could aply to any adult single Christian as well.
Scriptural Christian Dating Tips for Teens
Christian Teen Dating Tip 1: The purpose of dating is to find a lifelong marriage partner.
If you don’t have the gift of singleness, the Word of God is pretty plain that it’s God’s will that we should meet ONE person of the opposite sex and bond as ONE with that person for life (Genesis 2:24: “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh”).
I happen to have Christian teen boys who love girls. And you know what? Dear old dad is happy about that! But as I tell them, “If you’re not at the point in your life where you’re not practically capable of getting married, you have no business dating one on one. Hard words? Yes, but the good choices are not always easy to make.
Christian Teen Dating Tip 2: Cultivate Godly Friendships with the Opposite Sex
Instead of a serious dating relationship during teen years where sexual temptation, pregnancy, rejection and heartache can be more difficult to deal with, why not get to know a wide variety of singles through single groups or in group get-togethers instead?
Having meaningful, godly relationships with teens of the opposite sex with no strings attached will not only build your self esteem but also hone your interpersonal and conversational skills with a variety of people. No pressure to perform here. Then when the appropriate time comes for a serious, one on one Christian dating relationship you will be emotionally prepared, without any prior baggage
Guard Your Heart By Not Giving It to an Unbeliever
Do we need to even go here? As a Christian teen you cannot help who you are physically attracted to, but you can keep yourself from giving your heart to them when you know it is not the right thing to do. Almost all the emails we get from Christian Teens about broken hearts comes from the fact that they were dating an unbeliever. Although this Christian dating tip for teens is clearly mentioned throughout Bible (ex: “Do not intermarry with them. Do not give your daughters to their sons or take their daughters for your sons” Deuteronomy 7:3), many Christian teens rationalize this one away. The bottom line here is that missionary dating is dangerous and wrong. Many Christian singles (including Christian dating teens) have experienced untold pain because of it.
Instead hang out with singles of the opposite sex who are excited about Jesus and what He means to them. These are your potential soul mates because if you are really a Christian, these are the kinds of singles you can connect with on all cylinders. Really living for Jesus is the most thrilling and exciting ride you can possibly imagine, but you cannot experience all that God wants for your romantic life with another person of the opposite sex if they “just don’t get it”.
Christian Teen Dating Tip 4: Ask the Lord to Lead You to the Right Person
Your loving heavenly Father will never let you down. What an amazing resource to have the powerful person in the universe guiding your dating decision making. The question is, why would you not want Him doing so.
Overall, dating is great fun, but also serious business. Christian teens dating who make the wrong choices will be suffering the consequences for a lifetime.
