Christian Date Promise

I know a lot of single Christians are tired of waiting on God for that perfect Christian date. I understand the loneliness and discouragement because I have been there myself. However, if we hang on, God invariable follows through on His promises. Don’t give up, OK?

Bible Verse of Day:5-22-09

~So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up~Galations 6:9

I know a nice lady in my church who prays for me every week in prayer meeting. She’s also told my mom about her anxiety of growing old alone. Ever since I heard that story over a year ago, I can’t stop thinking about this lady. I’m very nervous about trying to meet her or ask her on a date so we can get to know eachother better, but I feel compelled to try. I’ve written her a short thank you card for praying for me and suggested that I would like to meet her for a bike ride or dinner because I want to get to know her better.
I hope I’m doing the right think and don’t come off as trying to set her up or something.
Do you have any better suggestions on how to ask a lady on an informal date and let her know you value her and want her to feel safe and do not want to take advantage of her?
