Loving Yourself as a Christian Single

Do you love yourself? I’m not talking about that narcissistic kind of loving yourself. Do you know that type? I am on vacation at the beach, and I see many single ladies and guys of that type. Do you know the kind? I’m sure you do.

I’m not talking about loving yourself from the perspective of all those self help books and magazines out on the racks. No, rather I am talking about loving yourself from the perspective of the way God says we should in His word. Some Christian singles are a little confused when it comes to loving themselves. But if you don’t love yourself in the right way, you will find it difficult to love others as well.

Today, as you go about your day focus on what God says about you…not what you feel about yourself.
