Obama Picks Biden for Vice-President!(share your view of Biden?)

That’s right, our sources tell us Barak Obama has chosen Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware as his vice-presidential candidate, mainly due to Biden’s foreign policy background. Barak Obama and Joe Biden as running mates in the 2008 Presidential Election! Obama choosing Biden as VP is somewhat surprising to some, who interpreted Biden’s comments about Barak during the primary campaign as being condescending if not racist: “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” Biden said. “I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”

So how does the fact that Barak Obama picked Joe Biden as his running mate affect the feelings of our Christian single readership? Not much. In fact, according to our survey of single Christians, it wouldn’t matter who Obama or McCain chose for their running mates because they are disappointed with both Presidential candidates on a number of issues. important issues.

Both the Republicans and Democrats are aggressively courting young evangelical voters (ages 18-35) ,who are going to have a huge voice in the upcoming election. For example, Obama and the Democrats asked Cameron Strang, editor of Relevant, a hip magazine geared toward Y Generation single Christians, to pray at the Democratic National Convention. However, perhaps most representative of the ambivalent feeling this group of voters has toward the election is the fact that Strang initially said yes, but later changed his answer to a “no”. He also later changed his voter identification from Republican to Independent.

No matter what your political point of view is, as single Christians we should be praying for Barak Obama and Joe Biden, who may may leading the world in the next few months.

Why a Dating Matchmaking Site?(share!)

A number of Christians always ask, “Why a Dating Matchmaking site? Some Christians (usually they’re not single..hmm) find a dating matchmaking site a little strange, especially from someone (moi) who believes they’re called into a church planting ministry.

Dating Matchmaking and Thinking Out of the Box

In short, I basically created this dating matchmaking site as an “out of the box” way of reaching singles for Jesus, because I have a burden for the needs of singles, especially Christian singles. In fact, our future church plant will be targeting singles, who happen to be the most underchurched group of people anywhere.
