Even though most singles avoid church, many are singles of faith who profess to know Christ as Lord and Saviour.
Singles of Faith for Singles
In 1 John 5:1-5, Paul writes about genuine faith in Christ. This is not mental assent or an intellectual exercise. Rather, it is active, abiding, believing, trusting faith… the kind of faith that Abraham had as he offered his son Isaac (James 2:19-22) and that Moses had as he led the children of Israel out of Egypt and through the wilderness.
This is faith that demonstrates itself in loving obedience to the Father (v. 2-3) and in overcoming perseverance as we withstand the pressures and temptations of the world (v. 4-5). God offers us immeasurable grace to deal with life’s hardships and to shine like lights with the love of God!
Bible Verse of Day
~Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands~ 1 John 5:1,2

We hear a lot about Christian courtship nowadays. In fact we have written a little about the Christian Courtship and dating controversy right here at Christian Dating Service Plus.
Christian Courtship Controversy and Nastiness
What’s amazing to me is how Christians can get so mean with each other discussing the benefits or drawbacks of Christian Courtship. Where’s the love of Christ and attitude of humility? Especially on issues (like Christian Courtship) that are not so clear cut or condemned in Scripture, I think we should accept our dear brothers and sisters instead of questioning their walk with God. What do you think?
Bible Verse of Day
-Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters. One man’s faith allows him to eat everything, but another man, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. The man who eats everything must not look down on him who does not, and the man who does not eat everything must not condemn the man who does, for God has accepted him- Romans 14:1-3

Online Christian Dating or Courtship?
Don’t worry, be happy, said that famous 90s song. Well that’s easier said than done, isn’t it? When we hear someone say “don’t worry”, what they’re really sayimg is: Don’t worry about what the future may bring.
What exactly is worry? Well, worry manifests itself in different ways, but almost always eminates from a lack of faith, a scary sense of vulnerability and powerlessness. It’s no surprise then, that many singles who are “worry warts” also suffer from anxiety disorders.
Presently, Christian Dating Service Plus! is conducting a singles survey on dating, and one of the questions has to do with what we worry about most. Many single Christians that I have come in contact with worry about such things as:

In Matthew 6:25-34, , Jesus gives us some great “don’t worry”advice.
- Don’t worry about “things” becasue life is more important than them, and God will provide themn for you anyway if you give Him first palce (vs.25-26,33)
- Don’t worry because it really does no good as far as adding length to your earthly life (v.27)
- Don’t worry about the “what if’s, and’s or but’s of the future, becasue the future will take care of itself.
Bible Verse of Day
-Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own- Jesus Christ in Matthew 6:34
