Charlie Brown Christmas Tree
December 25, 2008
My Dear Brothers and Sisters and Friends:
Welcome! We at Christian Dating Service PLUS! just want to take time out to wish you and your families a very heartfelt Merry Christmas!
I hope this blessed time of year finds you all safe and healthy. Our prayers for you in the coming year is that our precious Saviour, Jesus, blesses you in all areas of your life, including your dating life. In the meantime, let’s not forget among the hustle and bustle, gifts and parties, trees and lights, the real reason we celebrate Christmas.
I know some of us today are feeling like a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. Hey, going through the holidays alone can be a depressing time. But just but remember there is power, there is hope, there is a new beginning everyday because of what Jesus did for us when He came to earth. I am also praying that our Saviour grants you your heart’s desire when it comes to meeting that special person in your life. So let’s doubt our doubts and believe our beliefs as we believe Him together for these blessings in 2009, ok?
Cheers and Blessings,
David
PS: Please remember to pray for all singles in the Armed Service who are away from family this year……

Hope for Singles this Christmas
December 25, 2006

We at Christian Dating Service PLUS! want to take this time to wish the thousands of dear single brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus who visit us each week a very warm and Merry Christmas! It is our hope and sincere prayer that the Lord will bless you with love, hope and joy in the coming year.
As Christian singles we know it is especially during Christmas that many sense a longing for intimacy and love as found in a Christian dating or marriage relationship. Many singles are lacking hope for such a relationship, and are dealing with intense loneliness, along with simply trying to survive the usual holiday blues.
Our heartfelt message to you is to not give up hope in your God. He loves you where you are and promises to meet you in your need. As our Wonderful Counselor, we can run to Him with our burdens, and lay them down at His feet. He really wants us to!
Remember, our Precious Saviour specializes in taking a rotten situation and turning it into something beautiful. The smelly and dank stable He chose to come into the world in speaks volumes regarding this beautiful fact.
Bible Verse of the Day
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.” Isaiah 9:5,6
Are you a single person with something to share on the topic of hope?

Single Parent Family Stress at Christmas time
December 13, 2006
Christmastime can bring added stress for a single parent family. A single parent family mom or dad already has a stressful life. Yet, at this time of the year a custodial single parent may also be battling the holiday blues syndrome, the burden of trying to afford Christmas gifts for the family and the hassle of arranging a visitation schedule with the other parent. Talk about the potential for major stress!
Single Parent Family Antidote for Worry
As Christian single parents, we were not meant to carry such a load through life. Your Saviour, the Prince of Peace, bids you to lay your every day burdens on Him.
Bible Verse of Day
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6,7
