New Years Day Resolutions

Happy New Year! How are those new year resolutions coming? Got em’ all written down? Me? I’m still workin’ on 2008’s resolutions, like keeping chocolate out of my mouth! But it’s all good! I like New Years resolutions because it’s another opportunity to take stock of how we’re doing and to start life off fresh and new.
Did you have some joyous moments in 2008? Give the Lord thanks! Did you experience heartache and sorrows? Are you dealing with guilt because of the sins you committed? Maybe you’re getting by ok but deep inside fear being single and alone forever? Know that you have a Saviour who has been and will be with you always.Thank God we don’t have to hold this stuff in our hearts but can surrender our burdens to the Lord Jesus of whom the Bible promises:
~Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess ~ Hebrews 4:14
