Looking for New Brunswick churches or perhaps just one particular New Brunswick, NJ church to attend? Well, Oasis Church, our New Brunswick NJ area church plant, will be contemporary in format as opposed to most other New Brunswick churches. Hub City, as New Brunswick is called, has some great places of worship of Christians, but in this county of 800,000 strong form all over the world, there is always room for one more good New Brunswick Church.
Our New Brunswick Church Target Audience
Since singles are the most unchurched group anywhere, and Rutgers University has 50,000 + students on five campuses (College Aveune, Busch, Livingston. Douglass and Cook) all within a few minutes drive of our New Brunswick church, there is a great opportunity to reach a ton of folks for Jesus right here. Our primary targets are therefore singles and young married folks. Most new Brunswick churches target either one or the other.
Since Rutgers University has students from almost every country of the world, we believe if more New Brunswick churches could reach people here, this could be an impetus for worldwide revival. As some may know we are planting a new NJ church in the Somerset/Middlesex County area of New Jersey geared toward the next generation of dating singles and young families. Why another NJ church? Aren’t there enough evangelical churches in New Jersey for those looking to find a NJ church? If you are in the process of choosing a church in NJ you would know that this is absolutely not the case, and that is one of the main reasons for our church plant. Please pray for us as we seek to juggle our Christian singles dating/outreach site and our NJ church?
Our NJ Church Name
I am so excited about this new church in NJ because our Core Team has finally chosen a name. We are calling it OASIS! Since our vision is to reach the frustrated, lonely and stressed out the TEAM agreed that ~this would be a cool name. We are actually planning two services from the get go: One for the 15-25 year old set on Saturday evenings, and one on Sunday for all. Both NJ church services will be contemporary with great multimedia, drama and relevant, Bible based messages geared toward each audience.
If you have a heart for lost people and want to use your spiritual gifts for Jesus, just give us a holler. We are looking for Christians with musical, teaching, multimedia, counseling and administrative gifts. Getting involved with our NJ church from the ground floor up will be one of the most exciting and fulfilling spiritual experiences of your life. I guarantee it!
of course, we know know that in whatever we do, whether it be looking for that perfectmatch of a date or trying to build a church in New Jersey from scratch, unless we are surrendered to the Lord and His leading, we’re bound to fail.
