Singles Issues-What Singles Worry About Most

So what do you think the top singles issues are among Christian singles in the world. Oh wait! Top 7 Singles Issues
Now, let’s get back to singles issues and what singles seem to think or worry about most. We are gathering this information from our 10 month old singles survey where over a thousand Christian singles from around the world participated. Here are the top five things singles issues people are worry warts over with a Confidence Interval @ 95%:
I was kinda shocked to see sex at number 7 and money issues as the number 1 singles issue. One interesting thing we found about these singles issues is that the percentage of single women who think or worry about money/bills (20%) is substantially higher than the number of single guys who do (13%). Perhaps not surprising is the fact that men think or worry about sex (10%) much more often than our single gal respondents (4%). How interesting! Any thoughts on this?
So what are your issues today? What are YOU worrying about? The cool thing is that no matter what our “singles issues” are today, Jesus told us we don’t have to carry all that stuff by ourselves. He wants us to lay our burdens on Him. Have you done so yet?

Christian Small Groups for Singles

Basically a Christian small group is a support group or cell group that Christians attend for worship, prayer, encouragement, learning more about the Lord and outreach to the community round them. Here at Christian Dating Service Plus we highly encourage Christian singles to hook into Christian small groups because the come with many benefits.

- Small groups gather together people with similar issues and backgrounds
- Small groups make it easier for others to have opportunities to share from the heart in a non-threatening environment
- Small groups give opportunities for singles to use their spiritual gifts to minister to others

Why You’re Still Single

Have you ever been asked by someone why you’re still single? During the holidays many singles were no doubt asked that worn out question by well meaning relatives and friends, “So why you’re still single?” Don’t you just hate that question? Many who desire marriage cringe at such a question but perhaps it a good one to ask of ourselves as we enter a brand new year. No need for sulking over why you’re still single here. Introspection can be a good thing if it leads to positive changes.
Reasons Why You’re Still Single
Recently, we surveyed a number of Christian singles on the question, Why you’re still single.” Here are some of the top reasons they gave for being single, which we lumped together into the following categories:
- Love Shyness
- Personal fears including fear of commitment
- Career/Money worries
- Single parent responsibilities
- Nowhere to meet other single Christians
There were a number of others, but I’ll leave that for another article.
Overall, if you feel why you’re still single has something to do with one of the above please be encouraged as we enter 2008. Why? Because there is no obstacle too great that He cannot overcome if truly commit our ways to Him. Does that sound too simple? That’s exactly what the enemy want you to think.
