Christian Cafe-ChristianCafe Review

christian cafe
Christian Cafe is a Christian dating service for Christian Singles of all stripes. Christian Cafe features one of the largest databases of online Christian singles personals. ChristianCafe, like most of the other Christian matchmaking sites listed on our site,  offers a free trial period (in this instance 10 days) so you can test out almost all of the Christian Cafe  features of this online dating site without obligation. Christian Cafe offers a win-win situation in this sense.

How Christian Cafe Works

Once you create your FREE Christian Cafe Profile, which is much less involved than eHarmony’s, you can begin checking out the profiles and photos, use Christian Cafe’s internal e-mailing system, Christian chat rooms and instant messaging features. All pretty neat stuff. :) Christian Cafe is Christian owned and operated, but like most of these matchmaking sites, not all singles who post here are necessarily Christian.

If you read the the Christian Cafe personal ads (Ok, I admit it, I find checking profiles entertaining) you will find folks fully committed to Jesus, those trying to make sense of it all and those stuck somewhere in between.

The good thing about Christiancafe  is that you can use the Christian Cafe dating site to meet other Christian singles (both single parents dating and those without children) who are like-minded in faith and values in the local area of where you live. This holds for whether you’re just looking for a penpal, fellowship or a lifelong soul mate.

Agreed! Although, Christian Cafe is not the only site that does this. In my experience of 3 online dating services, all of them do it. The problem with all these services is that people who are ‘newbies’ to them aren’t aware that no matter how well expressed their Profile is, chances are they will have to wait a long time until they start getting any real responses. The sad truth is that profiles with photos get the attention first; and people are still people - the good looking folks will ALWAYS get the look-in first! The claims made elsewhere - that Christian girls most highly value the man who places Jesus Christ first and foremost in his life - is simply wrong! They do not. The Christian girl says this because she doesn’t want to look UNChristian by NOT saying it! The Christian girl is just as flesh and blood as any other human being: she wants a flesh and blood man… who just happens to be healthy, good-looking, decent, kind, hard working and… Christian… in THAT order! Lastly, a warning to a lot of naive guys out there: be very wary of girls who use Christian ethics as a way of blackmailing the guy into a subordinate, rather than a partner in Christ. These women aren’t Christians; they’re Feminists who use the name of Christ to intimidate men into being something really less than a man… a ‘handbag’… an accessory… something to keep them from being bored on a weekend… something to end the embarrassment of being single. These girls don’t want a man, a partner, a friend, a helper, a husband… they want an extension of their ego.
Remember, it’s your money. Be honest, be frank. If a prospective person starts playing mind games - ditch them. Fast. You didn’t join the site in the first place to get hurt.

Wow, Mark! You seem to have really been hurt, rejected and stomped on, and I am sorry that about that.

But 2 quick points based on our feedback from readers:
    1) Many Christian singles have found great relationships through Christian Cafe.
    2) We need to be careful about making generalizations. Your point about Christian women is YOUR view; There are in fact many single Christian gals out there who are the exact opposite of what you describe. I know because I receive their mail everyday.

I hope you meet that real nice girl soon.

    God Bless,

    David

I would have to say that CC is one of the better sites. Every so often they will give you a free couple of days if you are no longer a member. As with most sites, you’ll see the same old people on there. I dated someone on this site for about 6 weeks. I’d have to put this site in my top 2 as far as a paying site goes.

I’ve used about 6 online dating sites, and Christian Cafe is one of the best. Although, as another poster said, the same people are on Christian Cafe all the time, I found it to be of high quality. One thing I liked is that, when I reported a guy to Christian Cafe for harassing me and wanting to meet in a hotel room for a date, he was kicked off within 24 hours. That didn’t happen on BigChurch (I later learned about its connection to the sex site “Adult Friend Finder”). I do wish, though, that more people would throw out their lengthy lists of “the perfect soulmate” and be realistic. Seems a lot of people on all of these sites aren’t really serious about finding a mate. One evidence of this is the number of people who don’t bother to post a pic or answer the profile questions. Back to the specific subject at hand: I would recommend Christian Cafe.

This is in response to Mark’s comment. I met my husband through Christian Cafe and have been happily married for 3 years in May. We were honest with each other from the beginning so that there were no surprises later. We were not being picky looking for someone either. We just knew what we wanted in looking for a mate. No one is perfect. You find that special someone and you make it right. Marriage and relationships are an ongoing process. You have to strive everyday to make it better. Never take each other for granted either and respect each other’s opinions. I pray everyday for our marriage and I pray that someday Mark will find the person that God wants him to be with. Many Blessings, maria

Well you know. I posted as niteowl up there and yeah, that other guy is basically right. Most of these people on the sites are losers or golddiggers. I’m engaged and I knew the woman for years. We dated on and off and I dated some people from 3 different sites and these sites basically take your money. I met many women who were psycho and usually cute and I met women who were nice and usually bow wow. And I met women who said they were slim and were chubby and hirsute to boot!
