Hey Guys,

My name is David Butler, and we’ve been ministering to Christian singles for several decades. Thanks for dropping by and saying hi. By the way, it wasn’t our plan to get so involved with singles, but it’s just how the Lord arranged it. Ain’t it funny how God works?

We started Christian-Dating-Service-PLUS.com out of a deep care for Christian singles and their unique needs. Whether you’re a single parent dating, a college student or a 40+ something grandparent, we want to remind you that Jesus deeply loves you wherever you are in your life. There is no burden too great that He cannot carry; no heartache so deep that He cannot heal.

Oh yeah, if you “just happened” onto this site and aren’t sure about God’s love for you, check this out before doing anything else. We’ll wait right here for you. We promise!

Our Mission and Purpose

Christian-Dating-Service-PLUS exists to minister to the emotional and spiritual needs of thousands of singles in the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and Australia by:

• Introducing singles to the love, forgiveness and eternal life that only comes through Jesus Christ
• Encouraging godly, satisfying relationships with the opposite sex
• Providing Christian dating service resources, dating tips, practical and relevant singles advice and articles
• Connecting singles with local Christian singles groups, coffee houses and church ministries for fellowship and spiritual renewal
• Allowing a forum where single Christians, ministers and counselors can share comments, singles articles,Christian podcasts, dating reviews, personal struggles and dating advice with others

More Personal Stuff About Us

David surrendered his life to the Lord Jesus in 1978. Over the years he has served as a Youth Minister, College and Career Group Leader, Deacon, Elder, Small Groups Coordinator, Worship Team Leader, pre-marital counselor and Alpha Course Director of five courses. Last Fall he performed his first marriage ceremony for a neat Christian single couple. (David says: “It was a very cool and holy experience!”)

He started Christian Dating Service Plus from scratch in 2006 and presently gets over 100,000 guests (and growing) per month. Additionally, over 8000 people listen to our podcasts each week worldwide. The good news here if you are reading this is that there are a lot of singles going through issues similar to yours.

Outside the church, for the last 25 years David has been employed through Family Court. He has worked as a Probation Officer, Parent Education Class Teacher, Crisis Intervention Hotline Worker and Mediator to single parents regarding parenting, custody, child support and other personal issues affecting singles.

David also has another site, Affordable Web Hosting 4U, which he created to help church ministries, stay at home moms and small Christian businesses get inexpensive web hosting and create web sites that reach targeted traffic.

Our Church Planting Vision

Currently, David is attending Liberty Theological Seminary, and will shortly earn a Master’s Degree in Evangelism, Church Planting and Church Growth. His passion is reaching people for Jesus, and he feels the best way to do that is through church planting. Did you know that single adults are the most unchurched group of people in almost every country of the world?

In line with His vision to reach people for Jesus in person and via the internet, in Spring 2009 David began planting Oasis Church from scratch and believes God is calling him to reach thousands, no check that, tens of thousands in this area and ALL around the world. This NJ church will focus on the needs of singles and families with young children, and will use all available resources, including this online ministry, to accomplish this goal. In the future you might find some ads on Christian-Dating-Service-PLUS.com. Please understand that creating and updating an interactive singles website/ministry like this takes a lot of thought, time and money, and we may need to find some way to cover the expenses. Also, if the Lord provides a surplus, those monies will go directly into a ministry fund for our future church plant geared primarily toward Christian singles.
