A Love Relationship Worth Sharing

Many single Christians come on this site in search of a love relationship that culminates in marriage. Hey, there is certainly nothing wrong with this kind of love relationship. After all, the Lord created the sexes for each other for this his kind of lifelong love relationship.

The Greatest Love Relationship of All

Although marriage is a love relationship that God blesses, He wants to make sure sure we don’t miss out on the best and longest lasting love relationship of all: A personal realtionship with Him. Besides enjoying His all by ourselves, our Lord also wants us to invite other all over the world to share in this wonderful love relationship. After all, that is what the Great Commission is all about, right?

David Gremban, pastor of Calvary Chapel Ann Arbor in Michigan, write about the reasons we should be sharing this love relationship to our friends all around us:

“In 1 John 1:1-4, John teaches us that Jesus is both divine (i.e., He had no beginning) and human (i.e., He was heard, seen and touched). As such, He is the bridge between God and humanity in that He is the “Word of life” (v. 1), the source of all life. Jesus is the key to experiencing fellowship with God, fellowship with believers, and overflowing joy (v. 3-4). John is so excited that He can hardly contain himself as he boldly declares what he has experienced. In the same way, let’s open ourselves up afresh to the risen Lord and become so impacted that we, too, can hardly contain ourselves as we boldly declare Jesus to a needy world.”

Bible Verse of Day

-That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us-1 John 1-3
