Looking for a messianic Jewish dating site? A number of my messianic Jewish dating friends,  who are believers in Yeshua, have been looking to date, and have asked us about online Jewish dating services for Messianic singles.

Dating can be a challenging endeavor for anyone, but for Messianic Christians, the process often involves unique considerations. Messianic Christianity is a faith that combines elements of Judaism and Christianity, and this can impact how individuals approach dating and relationships. In this article, we will explore the pros and cons of Messianic Christian dating, shedding light on the key aspects that can make this journey both rewarding and challenging.

Pros of Messianic Christian Dating

  1. Shared Faith and Beliefs

One of the most significant advantages of Messianic Christian dating is the shared faith and beliefs that form a strong foundation for the relationship. Both partners understand the importance of Jesus Christ as the Messiah and the connection between Christianity and Jewish traditions. This common spiritual ground can lead to a deep sense of unity and purpose in the relationship.

  1. Cultural Understanding

Messianic Christians often have a deep appreciation for Jewish culture and traditions, which can be a valuable aspect of their dating experience. Learning about and participating in Jewish customs can be enriching, fostering a sense of cultural understanding and respect between partners. This openness to different cultural perspectives can create a diverse and inclusive relationship environment.

  1. Family Values

Messianic Christians tend to place a strong emphasis on family values and traditions. This can result in a dating experience where both partners prioritize the importance of family, making it more likely for the relationship to progress into a long-term commitment. Shared values regarding family can promote a sense of stability and security in the partnership.

  1. Commitment to Faith

In Messianic Christian dating, the commitment to faith often plays a central role. Both partners are likely to be deeply committed to their beliefs, which can lead to a relationship characterized by a strong moral and ethical foundation. This commitment can foster trust and mutual respect between the individuals involved.

  1. Spiritual Growth

Messianic Christian dating can be a catalyst for spiritual growth. Partners often engage in meaningful discussions about their faith, encouraging each other to deepen their understanding and connection to God. This shared spiritual journey can lead to personal growth and a stronger sense of purpose in the relationship.

  1. Support System

Being part of a Messianic Christian community provides a built-in support system for couples. There are often churches and congregations specifically catering to Messianic believers, offering a network of like-minded individuals who can offer guidance, encouragement, and a sense of belonging to the dating couple.

Cons of Messianic Christian Dating

  1. Religious Differences

While shared faith is a significant pro, it can also be a con in Messianic Christian dating. If partners have different interpretations of their faith or religious practices, it can lead to conflicts and misunderstandings. It’s important to ensure that both individuals are on the same page regarding their religious beliefs and practices to avoid potential issues.

  1. Cultural Challenges

While cultural understanding is a positive aspect, it can also pose challenges. Integrating two distinct cultural backgrounds can be complex and may require patience and compromise. Differing traditions and customs can lead to misunderstandings and disagreements, particularly when it comes to celebrating holidays and observing rituals.

  1. Limited Dating Pool

Messianic Christianity represents a relatively small religious group, and finding compatible partners within this community can be challenging. The limited dating pool can make it difficult to find someone with shared values and beliefs, leading to frustration and feelings of isolation for some individuals.

  1. Family Expectations

Family expectations can add a layer of complexity to Messianic Christian dating. In some cases, families may have specific expectations about who their children should date or marry within the faith, putting pressure on the couple. Navigating these familial expectations while maintaining a healthy relationship can be a delicate balancing act.

  1. Outside Perceptions

Messianic Christian couples may encounter misunderstandings and misconceptions from those outside their faith community. Some people may not understand the nuances of Messianic Christianity, leading to judgment or discrimination. This external pressure can be stressful for the couple and may require them to explain their beliefs to others repeatedly.

  1. Balancing Traditions

The integration of Jewish and Christian traditions can be a beautiful aspect of Messianic Christian dating, but it can also be challenging to balance. Couples must decide which traditions to follow, how to celebrate holidays, and how to incorporate both faiths into their daily lives. Finding this balance can require open communication and compromise.

Unfortunately, I could find no true Jewish dating Services designed specifically for those single Jews, Christian girls, and Christian guys who prefer to identify themselves as “Jewish” but also have accepted Jesus as the Messiah. There are many Jewish dating sites out there for say, Reformed, Conservative, or Orthodox Jewish singles. Why there is even a site out there for atheistic Jews! But none for those Jewish dating singles living a Christian lifestyle

Good News for Jewish Dating Christian Jews

While there are no specific internet Jewish dating sites at this time for this particular Jewish dating niche, there is still some good news. Because the databases of most of the top Christian dating services are so large, it fairly easy to find a Jewish single girl or guy who is also a Christian. In fact, Christian Cafe actually has a section geared specifically for Messianic singles.

Conclusion

Messianic Christian dating comes with its unique set of pros and cons, but like any relationship, success depends on open communication, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to making it work. While shared faith and values provide a strong foundation, couples must also address potential challenges such as religious differences and cultural nuances.

Ultimately, Messianic Christian dating can be a deeply enriching experience for those who embrace it. The journey allows individuals to explore their faith, learn about different cultures, and build relationships that are rooted in spirituality. By understanding the pros and cons, couples can navigate the complexities of Messianic Christian dating with wisdom and grace, allowing their love and faith to flourish.

So please don’t give up, but keep waiting on the Lord as you seek your Jewish dating soulmate.

She’s not quite sure what her relgious beliefs are outside of the jewish traditions of which she’s also not quite sure of the meaning behind them. What I’m looking for is, information/books that could help myself and her understand the deeper meanings of the various jewish traditions/beliefs while tying them to the truth of Christ and she could learn the meaning and consistency of the jewish and christian faith. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Ms./Mrs. Hart, Thanks so very much for a very candid and insightful letter, as I’ve wondered for many years about dating (not myself but others) Messianic Jews, if someone is from a Christian background and what the Bible and the Torah would have to say about it.
As for the origin of Christ’s name, I’ve heard for many many years of it being of Greek origin, and if this is true then why are we still calling ‘Him’ Jesus rather than “Yeshua”???
Also, not to turn this into a debate, but since the Bible is the inspired Word of God to mankind, then I now begin to ask myself why those who wrote the Bible were not told to use the name “Yeshua” rather than “Jesus” as well???? I deeply apologize if this sounds confusing, it’s just ‘me’ wondering about the ‘difference’ in the names.
Lastly, as for dating a Messianic Jew, since they would already believe in Yeshua, what exactly would be the need to ‘convert’ them (which I thought actually came from Yahweh-G-d, and not from man directly?), in my case I wouldn’t see that happening as I’ve only seen ‘one case’ of Messianic Christian dating (which actually turned into a marriage), and that was between an ‘elderly’ interracial couple (him Jewish, her black) from my church (the sweetest couple you ever saw, and he treated her like a queen, while she learned the ways of Yeshua from a Hebrew perspective as well), but nothing else like it since.
Thanks for your comments and I apologize for the extra long reply. Take care and Shalom to you and yours.

P.S. I don’t know of any Jewish (Messianic or other-wise, except that elderly Jewish gentleman who joined our church, but held on to his Messianic roots and taught us a thing or two also.) person who’d date outside of their race (I mean the black/white issue) these days.

I never knew there was such a demand for this niche market for dating until today. I am a Christian African American woman who belongs to a small church that has embraced and are practicing the customs of the Jewish culture. We haven’t done all of the festivals and holidays yet because we are still learning. The Lord spoke to me five years ago about honoring the Sabbath and two years ago about Pesach (Passover). It is very difficult trying to reason with people you meet in the average Christian church especially members of the opposite sex about why our service is on a Saturday and why we don’t observe Easter. It can creates some uncomfortable feelings. I will not be able to marry someone who is not on the same page as I am or willing to even learn. I am looking for like-minded people that I can meet and learn more of the Jewish customs. Shalom

Hello I am a single Christian mother who loves Yeshua and who would love to meet a single Messianic Jewish man who loves and follows Yeshua. I don’t mind if he also has children since I also do, and who would want to love, live and learn more about Yeshua, his plans for Eretz Yisrael, the Jewish people, and ministering to the body of Christ together. I really love and appreciate the Jewish culture and people, and would one day love to visit Israel. I would also like to learn more about the Biblical Feasts, and to celebrate them instead of, or as well as, the modern holidays.

                          Shalom and G-d bless:)

i recently met a nice and lovely jewish guy, he doesn´t believe in jeshua but i really like him. What should i do.. all my life i have been afraid of commitment and there´s always a reason why not to fall in love. He treats my right, is caring good for me and the problem that i find very hard is , does the bible require that people who are in a relationship have to have the same religion? or is that just for marriage… God created love, didn´t he?
I just found this site, and i am curious why guys like you actually search for someone christian -messianic while maby you love someone already.. isn´t that hard to put aside feelings and force yourself into something..(sorry my english is not so good, its not my motherlanguage) I would appreciate it a lot if you ´ll send me an reaction!

To Emma, the scriptures command believers to “be ye not
                                unequally yoked”. Take care! 🙂

                                • CC Rider

Shalom folks, I have been reading a few posts on this site.
                                  I am a believer in Yeshua…have been since 1982. I consider myself
a believer due to all of the divisiveness in these titles, but for
earthly purposes, I am a Jew. As such, I take the scriptures (66
books) quite seriously, because it simplifies life! I am a 40 year
old female seeking a born-again Jew or Gentile (since we are both
one in Messiah). You can be as sweet as pie, but the scriptures
command us to not even bother romantically involving ourselves with
unbelievers. G-d knows best, so I take Him at His word. In
addition, you must be either never married or a widower. Again, the
scriptures are clear, that if you are divorced and your “ex” is
still living, then you’re still married…and adultery is a no-no.
I observe a lot of mixing of scripture with emotional desires, and
then our way becomes more important than G-d’s way. Anyway, feel
free to contact me at if you are not married according to the
                                  scriptures. Baruch HaShem! 🙂

It’s nice to hear and see what God is doing to us today specially to GOD’S chosen people the JEWS. I’m a Pastor’s kid and by the Grace of GOD I’m now a Pastor in our church. My father taught me to love the Jews when I’m still young to support, love and pray for the Jewish people. We never taught to disregard the Jewish people or accuse\blame them about the death of the Lord Jesus Christ. Because I believe GOD permitted though did not want for the Jewish people not to recognize the LORD Jesus as the Messiah in order to fulfill Isaiah 53;1-12 and Gal.4:4-5 -the Redemption of mankind from sin and it’s penalty. Nevertheless, as a Pastor I must be thankful to GOD for the Sacrifice of the Jews for our Sakes by giving us the priviledge to serve the only GOD and Saviour the LORD JESUS Christ. Don’t worry beloved Jews as a gentile Pastor our Church and our family is praying for the peace of Jerusalem as well to all the Jews all over the world that they come to know the LORD JESUS as the MESSIAH(Matt.1:21-22 and Psalm 122:6-7). John chapter 1. JESUS as the Lamb of GOD. I’m also praying for a GOD fearing Jewish girl. I’m 27 yrs old living in the Philippines. If GOD would give me a GOD fearing Jewish girl and willing to go with me to serve GOD as a Pastor or Missionary, I Praise and Thank GOD the LORD JESUS CHRIST!!! To GOD be the glory; Great things He hath done!!! Psalm37:4,5 GOD bless us all!!!

An introduction and background information is first in my message that I will write. My Christain name is Herbert. I am 49 years of age and of Jewish descent through my grandmother.
As I strive to walk and live in the Spirit. Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance being created and ordained that I walk in them have perpetually been inherited characteristics of my heart and life. Yet, as with with all men, in time past I walked according to the course of this world, according to the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience.
I am now guided to find a helpmate, a wife that is Christain/Jew with the desire of helping in the nourishment and guidance of the Christain/Jewish walk with and in Christ. In this search, I will not be unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. If Angels speak to your heart contact me at jack nine one eight six two at hot mail dot com.

My father is a Pastor and founder of an International Organization that leads thousands and teaches on the third person of trine God in the Bible…the HOLY SPIRIT. I began to understand more about the Jewish people as the Spirit reveals the secrets.

I am 21 years, an afro-black…male…and my country of origin, Papua New Guinea. I am the only boy in my family. I had openly spoke to everyone, almost entire family when I was 10 that I would like to marry a Jewish-American.

This is my final year in School of Law – University Of Papua New Guinea (Premier University in the Pacific). I am planning for my Masters and PhD in Harvard University in the USA. For this time, I am looking for a Jewish American girl. I would be glade to keep in touch with her till the time is right, and should things work-out for us.

                                                    God Bless!

I love Messianic Jews and hope they find others who love the Jewish faith and the Lord Messiah Yeshuah. I wish to be a partaker in the Jewish way as a Christian and need prayers for my wife to embrace the judeo Christian way for our benefit. Anyway, love each other and the Lord will bless you with a wonderful helper/companion. Jesus/Yeshuah loves each of you, as do I.

I am a Christian, single no children or husbands. I am looking for a person of love of God, and believes in what the Bible teaches. I was raised in the South in a Christian home, to love everyone, and that person’s religious belief. I do not have respect for a person who is athesist or does not worship God. I am looking for a person who has a beautiful heart, and soul.
